Donna Smolens joined Insight in 2015. Prior to Insight, she was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the North American Research and Due a Diligence Team at Portfolio Advisors, LLC. During her eleven years at the firm, she was a Voting Member on the Investment Committees of numerous Portfolio Advisors Funds and on the Advisory Boards of thirteen private equity funds. Previously, she was a General Partner with Technology Crossover Ventures, where she handled Investor Relations. Prior to that, Donna was a Senior Vice President at DLJ Securities Private Fund Group, where she was responsible for the origination, screening and due diligence on funds marketed by the firm. Prior to DLJ, she was a Portfolio Manager with General Motors Investment Management and an Investment Vice President at New York Life Insurance Company where she managed private equity portfolios.
